Item An appraisal of the Law on child abuse in developing countries: a case study of Nigeria and Uganda(2009-01) Ijaiya, Bashir. Leke; Musa, Yusuf. Abdul. RasheedThis paper examines the degree of the child abuse in both Nigeria and Uganda and how it has become so endemic that it has become so notorious in our society. It also discusses the various meanings of attached to child abuse, the types of child abuse such as physical, social, emotional and nutritional. The factors responsible for the child abuses were also thoroughly examined. More importantly, the various laws put in place by both the governments of Nigeria and Uganda to check the incessant abuses of the child. the last section is the solution and recommendations.
